Calculated a Sxx and b Rxx as a function of magnetic field. To demonstrate the four-fold splitting, a relatively small scattering rate of 0.6 meV is used in the calculation. Other parameters are listed in Supplementary Note 4. The red and blue down-triangles mark the four-fold splitting of the n = 1 peak in Sxx, following the assignment in Fig. 3b. Inset to a illustrates the band alignment within the n = 1 LL, according to assignment (1) described in the main text.
