This country-wide observational study included 1,164,926 participants across 9822 U.S. zip codes that collectively logged 2.3 billion food entries for an average of 197 days each. This study constitutes the largest nationwide study examining the relationship between food environment and diet to date (e.g., with 511% more counties represented compared to BRFSS data93).
