The steps were determined on the basis of the morphology of the nucleus and acrosome stained with 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI, blue) and Alexa Fluor–labeled peanut agglutinin (PNA, red), respectively. Kastor and Polluks were detected with antibodies to FLAG (green).
