Reaction conditions: N-Sulfonylhydrazone 1a–c (0.3 mmol), NaH (0.9 mmol, 3.0 equiv), catalyst (10 mol%), Et2O (1.0 mL), and CHCl3 (5.0 mL), under argon at 60 °C for 24 h unless otherwise indicated. a Yields were determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy with dibromomethane as an internal standard. b Isolated yield is given in parentheses. c Et2O (2.0 equiv) was used.
