The effect sizes on the x-axis refer to the coefficients from the regression of DNA methylation at each CpG site on ART conceived versus naturally conceived, for newborns, fathers, and mothers. The vertical dashed line indicates the median value of the effect sizes. The adjusting variables for newborns were maternal age, maternal smoking, maternal BMI before pregnancy, child sex, parity, and plate ID. The adjusting variables for fathers were paternal age, paternal smoking, and paternal BMI.
