From: Periodic corner holes on the Si(111)-7×7 surface can trap silver atoms
Partial density of states for Ag-adatom on the 12 membered Si-ring of the (a) Si(111)-5×5 and (b) Si(111)-7×7 unit cell. The Fermi energy (EF) is represented by the dotted line passing through 0 eV and the green and blue line represents the up and down spins of the Ag s-orbital signatures respectively.
