Panels from left to right represent the near term (2021–2040, a–d), mid-term (2041–2060, e–h) and long term (2081–2100, i–l), and panels from top to bottom represent SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0 and SSP5-8.5, respectively. The mean surface temperature difference (dT, unit in °C) is calculated as the value of CNCN minus the default CMIP6 for each combination of the study term and SSPs. Pixels overlayed by dots indicate that the dT is statistically significant at a level of 0.01. The paired t test was used to calculate the significance.
