The values of \(\left({\sigma }_{0}-{{{{{{\rm{\sigma }}}}}}}_{I}\right)/{\sigma }_{0}\) are calculated using Eq. (11), with the solid fraction fs being varied from 0.999 to 1. a fs = 0.999 (~100 nm thick liquid film left). b fs = 0.9999 (~10 nm thick liquid film left). c fs = 0.99999 (~1 nm thick liquid film left). d fs = 1 (complete solidification). Once fs reaches 0.99999, \(\left({\sigma }_{0}-{{{{{{\rm{\sigma }}}}}}}_{I}\right)/{\sigma }_{0}\) remains virtually unchanged (bd).
