a–h The forcings abbreviations are: ALL and ALL-2—forced by all anthropogenic and natural forcing agents, GHG—forced by anthropogenic greenhouse gases only, AER—forced by anthropogenic aerosols only. The ALL fingerprints were calculated on zonally averaged 3-month SSI over the 1971–2100 period, and the ALL-2, GHG, AER fingerprints over the 1971–2020 period. The month abbreviations are, from left to right (J, F, M, A, J, J, A, S, O, N, D), in the order of January–December.
