  1. The nucleation mechanisms were previously reported in ref. 12,13. In addition to the five types of coalescence between two crystalline nuclei, coalescence also occurs between a crystalline nucleus and a liquid one(Supplementary Fig. 5), which has three stages similar to those shown in Fig. 6.
