The normalized length (\(L/\sqrt{{pt}}\)) vs. molding size (d) scaling suggests a transition in mechanism from collective atomic transport (viscous flow, red) to individual atomic transport (interface diffusion, blue) for temperatures from Tg + 10 °C to Tg – 50 °C. The critical length scale of the transition, dc, varies with temperature. For T ≥ Tg – 30 °C, dc increases with decreasing temperature, whereas for T ≤ Tg – 30 °C, dc decreases with decreasing temperature. All data points have error bars which are quantified by the standard deviation of more than 10 measurements. Source data are provided as a Source Data file.
