Four-week-old WT mice were inoculated with 104 PFU CHIKV-ΔFHL1, CHIKV-3del5 or CHIKV-WT. Disease were monitored daily (a). The data are representative of two independent experiments (****P < 0.0001; n = 9; two-way ANOVA with the Bonferroni posttest). The ipsilateral quadriceps were harvested at 3 and 7 dpi.
