Oxygen consumption, activity of Fo-F1 ATP synthase and ATP/AMP ratio were measured in the tumours isolated at the end of the experiment shown in Fig. 2h (HCT116 xenografts) (a) and Fig. 2a (Capan-1 xenografts) (b). Data points are biological replicates (they represent single tumours). Data are shown as mean ± SD. p values were calculated by two-tailed Student’s t test.
