  1. The sum of classified associations (including Other) is the number of present associations. Absent associations appear in other layers but in no subnetwork of a given layer. Global, prevalent, and low-frequency associations have been computed with and without considering the MS. The proportion of regional associations increased with depth.
  2. aThe number of unclassified (Other) associations is computed from present, regional, global, prevalent, and low-frequency associations. The last three classifications have been done with and without the MS, and subsequently, the number of unclassified (other) associations varies.
