Nucleotide comparisons between the sub-clade C2 strain JJ1886, clade C outgroup genome CD306, and clade C2 strain O25:H4, highlighting differences between the K14, K5 and an unprecedented capsular region. The capsule loci in strain O25b:H4 is present in the GB-WLS.C2 draft genomes. Blue shading indicates nucleotide identity between sequences according to BLASTn (95 to 100%).
