Box plot whiskers of the box chart on the left represent the minimum and maximum values, with bounds of the box representing The box chart on the left shows the first quartile, median (marked by yellow line) and third quartile of the equi-effective concentrations of atrazine at all sites in the corresponding sea area (n = 16, 128, 34, 271, 21, 168, and 22 independent survey sites, from left to right). The solid circle in each sea area represents the median value of the equi-effective concentrations of atrazine at each station in that area, with a larger circle size representing a larger median value.
