Reaction conditions, 1 (0.9 mmol), 2 (0.3 mmol), (DHQD)2PYR (20 mol%), 1,2-dimethoxyethane (DME) (1.5 mL), rt for 48 h. NaOMe (0.45 mmol), and toluene (1.0 mL) was then added after the rotary evaporation of DME. Isolated yield, the ee values were calculated by chiral HPLC traces. The dr ratios were determined by crude 1H-NMR. The Z/E ratios of the products were obtained beyond 19/1.
