The neuromorphic cutaneous (1st order tactile signals) and cuneate (2nd order tactile signals) signals (SAI units) elicited during active touch with cylinders and spheres ranging in diameter from 50 to 100 mm are presented. These tactile signals from two distinct levels are displayed alongside their corresponding positions within the human sensorimotor system and the artificial tactile sensory system.
