Transmission measurement across a YIG-based magnonic waveguide for sweeping the excitation power at fp = 4.25 GHz a from 6 mW to 12 mW and subsequently b from 12 mW to 6 mW. δ represents the deviation in detection frequency from fp/2 = 2.125 GHz. c Power-history dependent signals extracted at δ = −3.6 MHz for the different sweep directions shown in (a) and (b). An emergent magnon mode appears at 7 mW only for the sweep starting at 12 mW down to 6 mW.
