Hinge motions (1, spike of Bombyx mori cytoplasmic polyhedrosis virus, PDB IDs 7WHM/7WHN), rearrangements (2, surfactant lipid transporter, PDB IDs 7W01/7W02) and fold switches (3, lymphocyte perforin, PDB IDs 3NSJ/7PAG). The most frequent conformational change is the rearrangement (n = 180) followed by the hinge motions (m = 62) and the fold switches are rare (n = 3).
