The mice (female, n = 3) were pretreated with K31 for 40 min followed by light exposure for 20 min, once daily for 4 days. Afterward, K31 was withdrawn, but the exposure to light (20 min/day) continued for 4 more days. a Gross appearance of the skin after K31 withdrawal.
