In the low-doping regime, the Fermi sea of charge carriers forms two hole pockets I and II64. We consider photoemission processes, where the photoelectron is removed in the vicinity of an already existing magnetic polaron. This process can couple to the (cc) channel by leaving behind a hole-type excitation \((\overline{{{{\rm{sc}}}}})\) in the Fermi sea; the two-body nature gives rise to broad spectral continuum.
