Voxels exhibiting consistent activation across trials in A Experiment 1, B Experiment 2, and C Experiment 3. We first binarized the activation in the brain map patterns for each trial and identified the voxels for which the sign of activation always in the same direction for a given subject. We then plotted voxels that have the same activation sign in all trials in a large proportion of all subjects. For visualization purposes, maps are threshold at 50% of subjects in Experiment 1 and 25% of subjects in Experiments 2 and 3.
