From: Broadband optical phonon scattering reduces the thermal conductivity of multi-cation oxides
DFT-calculated IR spectra for Yb2O3 (in blue), (Y0.25Yb0.255Er0.2Lu0.25)2O3 (in black), and (Y0.25Yb0.25Er0.25La0.25)2O3 (in red). The IR activity of (Y0.25Yb0.25Er0.25La0.25)2O3 shows a redshift and broadening compared to (Y0.25Yb0.255Er0.2Lu0.25)2O3.
