The median model estimate of the grounding zone depth is shown by the red line, with the range between the maximum and minimum estimates (see Methods) shown shaded in light red. Time in years since ice crossed the grounding zone is shown by the secondary purple axis and line. Upper and lower ice surfaces are taken from MEaSUREs Bedmachine Antarctica V.335.
