Most of the CE6 Homo-IGBs are plotted within both highlands and mare domains, except one (WGP09,G31) in the picritic domain. The classification criteria (dash lines) of lunar glasses are referred to refs. 65,66. The datasets of the lunar volcanic glasses and impact glass beads in the nearside are from ref. 48 (Source Data). The observed SW-H2O hydration profiles are exclusively identified in the mare Homo-IGBs. The source EPMA data of CE6 Homo-IGBs are listed in Supplementary Data 2.
