CD1 pups were intragastrically inoculated with ~2 × 106 CFU of either WT lacZ::tdTomato V. cholerae (red) or ∆motV lacZ::eGFP V. cholerae (green). CFU (A) and cryosections were collected over 24-hours from the indicated SI sections.
