As the forest grows, CO2 is removed from the atmosphere. The net carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) effect is the net of CO2 removal and albedo change. As shown, the albedo deduction is expected to reach its maximum effect before CO2 removal reaches its maximum effect.
