MBP-FEA4C321 is present only as monomer. b, Compared to FEA4 under normal redox state, oxidized MBP-FEA4 showed a slightly stronger binding, whereas reduced MBP-FEA4 exhibited a slightly weaker binding to the probe. The upper asterisk points to probe bound by recombinant MBP-FEA4 proteins (shift), the lower asterisk indicates free probes. c, MBP-FEA4 forms more dimer with H2O2 and less dimer with DTT treatment, compared to the untreated MBP-FEA4. The experiments were repeated at least three times with similar results.
