Comprehensive phylogenetic analysis of SLY1 orthologues from diverse species, showing major SLY1/GID2, SLY2, Lycophyte/Gymnosperm SLY and Liverwort SLY1/GID2 clades. MpSLY1, SmSLY1, AtSLY1 and OsGID2 are highlighted (red arrows). A related sequence (Mapoly0027s0014/MpSLY1L from M. polymorpha) is used as outgroup. The tree was constructed in MEGA11 using the Maximum Likelihood method and JTT matrix-based model. The tree is drawn to scale, with branch lengths measured in the number of substitutions per site.
