  1. Systolic blood pressure and heart rate were measured in conscious mice using tail cuff plethysmography. Heart–body weight ratio calculated from animal weight (g) and respective heart weight (mg). Cholesterol levels were determined in plasma obtained from anesthetized mice by ELISA. N denotes number of independent biological replicates.
