a–d Time kill kinetics assays were performed to evaluate the susceptibility of UTI89 (black), ∆cydAB (blue), and ∆appBC∆cyoAB (green) to ampicillin (a), gentamicin (b), ciprofloxacin (c), or a combination of ampicillin and gentamicin (d) at 5x MIC. Data were analyzed by a two-way ANOVA with Tukey’s multiple comparisons test and determined to have no significant differences between strains. Data are representative of at least three biological replicates. Lines connect geometric mean at each time point. Each dot represents a biological replicate.
