In pre-menopausal patients, a significantly lower lymphocyte count persists at 12 months post-chemotherapy for pre-menopausal patients but not post-menopausal patients (a). When pre-menopausal patients were evaluated according to the use of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH), the reduction in lymphocyte count at 12 months compared to baseline did not meet significance in either group (b).
