In patients who received dose-dense chemotherapy regimens, there was a persistent, statistically significant reduction in mean absolute lymphocyte count at 12 months compared to baseline, but not in patients who received standard dose regimens (a). Similarly, there was a persistent significant reduction in absolute mean lymphocyte count at 12 months compared to baseline in patients who received radiotherapy, and not in those who did not (b).
