Bottom row: change in phonon populations, ΔNνq(t), relative to the initial distribution, shown on the phonon dispersion. The BZ-averaged change in populations is shown to the left of each phonon dispersion plot. At time t = 0, the initial carriers are set to a hot Fermi-Dirac distribution at 4000 K, while the phonons follow a Bose-Einstein distribution at 300 K.
