  1. Mice were exposed to 0.5 Gy 56Fe and/or G/6 for 21 days; recovery groups were returned to normal cage activity for 21 days after completing the initial 21 days of G/6 and/or radiation exposure. WB weightbearing, Sham no exposure to radiation, Rad acute dose of 0.5 Gy 56Fe, G/6 partial weightbearing at 1/6 BW. Group means that share the same letter are not statistically different from one another (p < 0.05), as evaluated by Kruskal–Wallis ANOVA (data not normally distributed)
