  1. amMRC 1 – Breathless when hurrying on the level, or walking up a slight hill.
  2. mMRC 2 – Walks slower than most people on the level, or stop after a mile or so, or stop after 15 min at your own pace.
  3. mMRC 3 – Stops for breath after walking about 100 yards or after a few minutes on level ground.
  4. mMRC 4 – Too breathless to leave the house, or breathless undressing.
