Ratio between 〈ΔE〉 and 〈Δσ〉: comparison between experiment (dotted blue line) and theory (solid blue line), with ωint/ωL = 5 (in natural units) and ρ0 thermal state (with β = 1/2) of Eq. (9). The Landauer principle β〈ΔE〉 ≥ 〈Δσ〉 (1/β, red dashed line) is respected both theoretically and experimentally, although the experimental dataset underestimates the energy-to-entropy ratio close to the maximum achieved at ωLt ≃ 0.62. This is due to experimental imperfections keeping preventing the value of 〈Δσ〉 at such time to achieve the nearly null expected one.
