Ratio between 〈ΔE〉 and 〈Δσ〉: comparison between experiment (dotted blue line) and theory (solid blue line), with ωint/ωL = 5 (in natural units) and ρ0 thermal state (with β = 1/2) of Eq. (9). The Landauer principle β〈ΔE〉 ≥ 〈Δσ〉 (1/β, red dashed line) is respected both theoretically and experimentally, although the experimental dataset underestimates the energy-to-entropy ratio close to the maximum achieved at ωLt 0.62. This is due to experimental imperfections keeping preventing the value of 〈Δσ〉 at such time to achieve the nearly null expected one.
