It is a generalization to Fig. 1 by considering a multi-mode nonclassical input state \(\hat{\rho }\). The multi-mode nonclassical state is displaced by a multi-mode coherent state \(\left\vert {\alpha }_{0}\right\rangle \otimes \cdots \left\vert {\alpha }_{q-1}\right\rangle\). Also, the probes are more general than the standard phase shifts, which are given by nonlinear operators in Eq. (17).
