For simplicity, the single-particle energy levels omit the two (three) lowest-lying energy levels of QDT1 (QDB1), such that the six energy levels shown are T3, T4, T5, B4, B5, B6 starting from the bottom left. The red electron indicates the electron that moves QD as a function of changes in ε.
