Kink correlations (18) are shown for experiments performed at 7ns (top) and 10ns (bottom) for κ = 1, alongside experiments at other κ with λ(κ) rescaled according to (15). Simulation results are also shown. All experiments show a peak value in C(r), consistent with a combination of critical and coherent post-critical dynamics. The ZNE curve is shifted to the left of the simulation result, and curve height is suppressed at increased κ (reduced energy scale and increased simulation time). The enhancement of the peak height, towards the simulation result by ZNE is a demonstration of error mitigation. At 7ns both simulation and extrapolated data are well described by a 1-parameter theory, but curves differ in l/ξ; simulation is consistent with enhanced post-critical dynamics (larger l/ξ). At 10ns (and more generally with increasing ta) the curve height is suppressed relative to simulation and theory, which we attribute to accumulation of errors beyond the regime correctable perturbatively.
