Images of the baseline clusters of significant functional hypoconnectivity of the midbrain with Seed 1 (dorsal striatum, Fig. 2A). There were no clusters of midbrain hypoconnectivity with Seed 2 (ventral striatum, Fig. 2B). All findings were made by groupwise comparisons between FEP patients (n = 76) and healthy matched controls (n = 60) at baseline. No significant connectivity changes between these regions were seen at follow-up 12 months later. Primary voxel p-value of 0.001 was used in image and in cluster level statistics.
