The workflow begins with Preprocessing, where the organisms and models are selected, model quality is verified, and parameters are defined. These inputs are then passed to the Algorithm, where dynamic Flux Balance Analysis (dFBA) and Flux Variability Analysis (FVA) are used to simulate microbial growth and metabolite exchange. Finally, in Analysis and Validation, the results are examined to identify optimal microbial systems, which can be experimentally validated when necessary. (Icons: Flaticon.com).
