Cross-neutralisation of tick-borne flaviviruses with virus-specific mouse immune ascitic fluids (MIAFs). Seven tick-borne flaviviruses (listed in Table 1) were neutralised by MIAFs raised against homologous and heterologous virus strains, with the neutralisation (NT50) titres presented in a heatmap. Homologous neutralisation is highlighted by blue boxes around the neutralisation titres (the green box for OHFV indicates a heterologous strain). The donor viruses were grouped based upon MrBayes phylogenetic analysis of the M-E amino-acid sequences (analysis performed using Geneious R9), while the MIAF cross-neutralisation responses were grouped based upon hierarchical clustering (performed using Mathematica v10; Wolfram Research, Champaign, IL)
