Mice were i.m. injected at days 0 and 21 with 0.05 (light pink), 0.5 (pink) or 3 µg (purple) of COReNAPCIN® or PBS (gray) and the following assays were conducted, 21 days after the booster injection. a, b Sera from COReNAPCIN® vaccinated BALB/c mice (n = 20 each group) tested for SARS-CoV-2 Spike-specific IgG1 (circle shape symbol, ●) as well as SARS-CoV-2 Spike-specific IgG2a (square shape symbol, □) by ELISA (a) and endpoint titer ratios of IgG2a to IgG1 were calculated (b). c, d Splenocytes from BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice (n = 5 each group) were exposed to SARS-CoV-2 Spike peptide pool for 24 h and the level of IFN-γ and IL-4 cytokines in the cell culture supernatants were determined through ELISA. Each data point is shown, the height of bars in (a) and (b–d), respectively, represents the geometric mean and mean. For comparing values between two groups, t-test was conducted and Group comparisons were made by one-way ANOVA followed by Dunn’s test. A p value less than 0.05 (*P < 0.05, ****P < 0.0001) was assumed to be statistically significant.
