Water fluxes were measured by time dependent total volume increase (V/V0) with 0.95 cm2 of effective membrane surface area (water flux = Increased volume/(time × membrane surface area)). Organic coating dependence tests using IONP@SDS, IONP@PEG, and IONP@CTAB in (a) FO mode and (b) PRO mode.
