Crystals recovered from synthetic feed after basic treatment at 31 °C (G, J), 44 °C (H, K) and 49 °C (I, L): scanning electron micrographs with element composition determined by EDX (G–I) and crystal size distribution calculated using optical microscope images (J–L). The SEM images were taken randomly at various points of the samples and do not necessarily represent the most frequent morphology of the crystals that make up the precipitates.
