The panels (a) and (b) show the total intensity as a function of time and rotational phase while panels (c) and (d) show the circular polarisation. Panels (a) and (c) show the pulse profile near the time of the first PA reversal, when β changes sign as shown by the orange line. Panels (b) and (d) show the pulse profile at the time of the second crossing of the magnetic pole. The β-scale on the y-axis is obtained from a linear fit to the β values shown in Fig. 2 in the limited MJD range of the plots.
