  1. Number of secondary eclipse observations needed with MIRI/LRS to characterize the surface of SPECULOOS-3 b. The distinguishability of models was not analysed beyond 30 eclipses. Ten eclipse observations should allow to distinguish 50% of competing surface models with 4 σ confidence (and 70% at 2 σ).
