The physical properties inferred from SED modeling with BAGPIPES are used to predict the emission line ratio [OIII]/Hβ. This requires an assumption about the underlying continuum at rest-frame optical wavelengths. The left panel assumes the continuum is flat and consistent with the measured flux density in F444W, while the right panel assumes the posterior distribution of continuum levels from BAGPIPES. Various SED models with different SFH assumptions (constant in purple, delayed-tau in green, and continuity in orange) are implemented. We report the 5th, 16th, 50th, 84th, and 95th percentiles after combining the posterior distributions from the various SED models. For comparison, we include measurements for a sample of galaxies at z ≈ 8 with Hβ line flux measurements. The median of this sample is the gray lines, while the 1σ confidence interval is the shaded regions.
